Serving our communities through A Day of Giving

All across our company, BluSky employees devoted the day before Thanksgiving to giving of themselves in the communities where we live and work. Declared A Day of Giving, each BluSky office identified charities to assist as volunteers, doing whatever needed to be done.

“The number of lives we’ve touched is incredible,” said BluSky CEO Kent Stemper in reflecting on the day. “As an organization we’ve been very blessed; that’s just one reason why it’s important for us to give back.”

“I also find it a corporate responsibility to give back to our communities,” Stemper continued.

“At BluSky, I always say that we care for our employees. Here’s what struck me recently: we do care for our employees, but our employees care as well. Our employees care about our customers, our employees care about their teammates, and our employees care about their communities.

“It’s just one more thing that I’m very thankful for – employees who care. We’re impacting a lot of people’s lives in a positive manner, and it’s great for all of us to be able to play that role and help others.”

In total, BluSky employees served 1,610 people through 15 charities in the course of one day – read on to see where each office served. And if you’d like to see more pictures, we invite you to view our Day of Giving Photo Album.
