Kevin received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida in 2004. After Graduation he began his career with Florida Catastrophe working as a contents/cleaning technician and was promoted to contents/cleaning manager the same year. During his time at Florida Catastrophe Kevin has managed several large commercial and residential water mitigation jobs. Today, he serves as the Water Mitigation Manager, Mold Remediation Manager, and Estimator. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, fishing and coaching baseball.
Steve Cecere was born in Geneva, NY, but grew up in Jacksonville, FL where he attended Terry Parker HS. Steve is a graduate of FSU. Steve has been an estimator and project manager with Florida Catastrophe for almost 20 years. Father of two boys and one girl, he is very active in the community with coaching youth sports and helping out with his local church. He takes pride in knowing he does everything he can to please our customers and goes the extra mile to make sure they are 100% satisfied with the work that was performed. Haag Certified Roof Inspector, Notary, Certified Adjuster (CA) and EPA Certified.
Tracy grew up in Central Florida and graduated from Lake Howell High School. Ms. Gonzalez worked in local banks for six years prior to joining the staff at FLA-CAT. Tracy has the responsibility of receiving the claims from all three offices; she does everything from making the initial contact with the customer to tracking the completion of our emergency services. Tracy is an avid softball player and enjoys spending time with her children.
Ms. Norris grew up in Brooksville and graduated from Hernando High School. Prior to joining FLA-CAT Michele was a bank officer for two communities in Central Florida. Ms. Norris has over eight years of experience overseeing all accounting and financial affairs of FLA-CAT. Ms. Norris is an avid cyclist and has completed two marathons. Michele is originally from Toronto.
Originally from Lake Mary and graduated from Lake Mary High School. Matt attended Manatee Community College before being drafted by the Oakland A’s. Mr. Allegra played professional baseball for seven years before retiring due to injury. After baseball Matt joined the City of Sanford fire department, where he served as a fireman for five years. Matt is an assistant varsity baseball coach for Orangewood Christian High School as well as an assistant coach for the Winter Park Diamond Dogs of the Florida Collegiate Summer League.
Cabinet Department Manager/Chief Designer
Mike started his trade in a small family owned custom cabinet shop just outside of Charlotte, NC where he learned how to build and install cabinets. Mr. Williamson has over 27 years of experience in kitchen & bath design and is fully versed in the 20/20 3-D cabinet design software that allows the customer to see what their dream kitchen can look like before it’s installed.
Curtis relocated to central Florida from the Florida panhandle in 2012. He joined the Florida Catastrophe team in 2014. He brings over 20 years of varied construction service and project management experience, with an emphasis on custom homebuilding and commercial renovations. Curtis enjoys spending his time off with his family, and is avidly involved in coaching youth ice hockey.
Andrely is originally from Puerto Rico and she moved to Orlando in 2003. She joined the FLA-CAT team in 2004. Andrely has worked as a technician in the field department for years and was recently promoted to Field/Contents Manager. She is IICRC Fire and Smoke Restoration Certified. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from SUAGM. She’s often saving stray animals and in her spare time she volunteers for several organizations. Andrely also enjoys seeing movies on the big screen, working out and playing volleyball and basketball.
Austin grew up in Central Florida and graduated from Lake Brantley High School before moving on to graduate from the University of South Florida. Where he competed in division 1 baseball for four years while studying environmental sciences and communications. Today, he serves as an Estimator on our team. In his spare time he enjoys biking, surfing, weightlifting, and softball.
Administrative Assistant/Claims Coordinator
Deanna was born in Manhattan, NY, lived there for 10 years before moving to Puerto Rico where she graduated high school. She has been in Central Florida for the past 12 years where she is raising her son. Prior to joining FLA-CAT she was a patient services coordinator at a physical therapy clinic for two years. Her career background ranges from spending a few years in the hospitality industry as well as a year in marketing with Anheuser-Busch. Deanna is dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle and spends her free time involved in her son’s extracurricular activities, of which includes martial arts.
Jorge Feliciano Jr.
Director of Business Development and Marketing
Jorge was born in Puerto Rico, but grew up in Southern California after his family relocated to the United States when he was only two years old. After moving to Miami in 1981, Jorge worked in plumbing, Spanish foods and wine wholesale industries before becoming the Business Development Director at a well-respected, family-owned plumbing company for the next 16 years. In 2015, while looking for a slower pace and better quality of life, Jorge and his girlfriend moved to Mount Dora, FL. Shortly after, in 2016, Jorge joined the FLA-CAT team as the Director of Business Development and Marketing. In his personal life, Jorge enjoys cycling, competitive mountain biking, travel/exploration, & wine. Also, he and has a feisty 4 lb. Chihuahua named “Chico”.
David was born and raised in Central Florida. He went to Lake Brantley High School. Went to junior college at Eastern Florida State College and then transferred to Mars Hill University in Western North Carolina. Played baseball in college. Graduated with a degree in Athletic Training. Enjoys going fishing, shooting, and watching football.
Tom Meyerer graduated from Florida State University in 1994 with a degree in Criminology. His career started with Target Corporation, He was a Store Manager in Columbus, Ohio and Atlanta, Ga. He continued his over 13 years of retail management experience in Charlotte, NC as a member of the Southeast expansion team for Kohl’s Corporation. From there, moving him back to Orlando, FL, he co -founded a custom remodeling/cabinetry company and for the past 12 years has produced many successful projects, both residential and commercial.
Tom spends his free time with his wife of 19 years, their twin boys Jacob and Jackson, and daughter MacKenzie. Tom brings experience of custom remodeling projects and quality customer service to Florida Catastrophe Corporation.
Sonja was born in New York where she lived for 16 years. Prior to joining FLA-CAT she worked in the mortgage industry as an Account Manager, and then went on into the medical field. In her spare time she enjoys coaching softball, working out, traveling, and relaxing with family and friends.
Gabriel Diaz is 31 yrs old from Philadelphia Pennsylvania. After moving to Orlando Florida in 2005 after graduating high school, Gabriel got his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. Graduating from UCF in 2011, he was a recipient of the Dean’s list and President’s honor roll. In 2013, he started in the restoration industry as a tech and worked his way through the rankings. Fast forward to now, with over 5 years in the industry, Gabriel is now a project manager and beginning to take over as mold manager. He’s an ambitious and humble person with a strong belief in the collectivist way of getting things achieved. An excerpt from Aristotle, “The whole is greater than the sum of its parts”.
Accounting & Human Resources
Cheryl grew up in Central Florida and graduated from Apopka High School. After high school she began a 24 year career with The Home Depot. While there she held various positions with the majority of her career being held as a supervisor in the human resources department. There she would oversee the onboarding process of all new hires including drug testing, orientation, training, scheduling, as well as performance reviews and development for all employees. Cheryl joined the FLA-CAT team in May of 2018 and is responsible for accounts payable, payroll and human resources. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and watching her daughter on the softball field.
A native of Philadelphia PA, Jerry has a long resume with construction. After majoring in finish carpentry, framing and concrete engineering in high school he started remodeling homes, apartments and commercial buildings with one of the largest real estate company’s in PA. Starting about 1995 Jerry ran his own successful trim company in Atlanta area and project manager for commercial dental office construction. Since 2010 he’s called Central Florida home working in estimating and project management.
Thomas was born and raised in Northwestern Connecticut where he started racing BMX at the age of 12, eventually earning pro status and competing across the country. After a few major injuries he took a hiatus from racing, but has started again and just won the regional championships in Evans GA.
He became interested in property restoration while working in the textile restoration field as a young man, gaining certifications in many more areas of damage restoration as he progressed in the field. Tom has over 18 years of experience in the industry and continues to expand his expertise to better serve our customers. He enjoys racing BMX, riding his Harley, playing guitar, and spending time with his family and friends, especially his grand-daughter…who he is coaching to be the next BMX World Champion.
Morgan was born in raised in Central Florida and graduated from Lake Brantley High School, after high school she attended the University of Central Florida and graduated with a degree in Communication. Prior to joining FLA-CAT, Morgan worked as a Sales Director for a chain of Assisted Living Communities. Morgan is continuing her experience in sales working as the Director of Business Development for our company. In her free time, you can catch Morgan in the local Orlando/ College Park area trying new restaurants and enjoying time with friends and family.
Project Manager and Estimator
Brad was born and raised in Danville, VA. He is a 2010 Graduate of Danville Community College; receiving an AAS Degree in Business Management. He started his career in 2004, working for V&J Construction; family-owned and operated restoration company. Beginning as a carpenter, he worked his way to an Estimator / General Manager position. In 2014, Brad relocated to Melbourne, FL to begin a project manager and estimator role for a local Insurance Restoration Company. He is married, and has two young children. Brad is also co-owner of a successful competitive eSport company. In his spare time, he enjoys motocross and following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Claims Administrator and Mitigation Manager
Sarah was raised in the Mountains of Western NC; moving briefly to Southern VA where she received her AAS Degree from Danville Community College. Sarah started as a Pre-K teacher and 911 Dispatch before moving to Insurance Restoration full-time in 2012. Sarah holds over 6 years’ experience as an office administrator, and now serves as the Claims Administrator and Mitigation Manager for the Melbourne Office. Sarah is married to her high-school sweetheart. She and her husband have been in the Melbourne, FL area since 2014. They are huge Disney fans and enjoy spending their time away from work with their two children, Thea and Reed.
