Kevin received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Central Florida in 2004. After Graduation, he began his career with Florida Catastrophe working as a contents/cleaning technician and was promoted to contents/cleaning manager the same year. During his time at Florida, Catastrophe Kevin has managed several large commercial and residential water mitigation jobs. Today, he serves as the Water Mitigation Manager, Mold Remediation Manager, and Estimator. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, fishing and coaching baseball.

Brevard Office Manager

Steve Cecere was born in Geneva, NY, but grew up in Jacksonville, FL where he attended Terry Parker HS. Steve is a graduate of FSU. Steve has been an estimator and project manager with Florida Catastrophe for almost 20 years. Father of two boys and one girl, he is very active in the community with coaching youth sports and helping out with his local church. He takes pride in knowing he does everything he can to please our customers and goes the extra mile to make sure they are 100% satisfied with the work that was performed. Haag Certified Roof Inspector, Notary, Certified Adjuster (CA) and EPA Certified.


Tracy GonzalezTracy Gonzalez

Claims Administrator

Tracy grew up in Central Florida and graduated from Lake Howell High School. Ms. Gonzalez worked in local banks for six years prior to joining the staff at FLA-CAT. Tracy has the responsibility of receiving the claims from all three offices; she does everything from making the initial contact with the customer to tracking the completion of our emergency services. Tracy is an avid softball player and enjoys spending time with her children.


Morgan Lueck Jordan

Director of Business Development

Morgan was born in raised in Central Florida and graduated from Lake Brantley High School, after high school she attended the University of Central Florida and graduated with a degree in Communication. Prior to joining FLA-CAT, Morgan worked as a Sales Director for a chain of Assisted Living Communities. Morgan is continuing her experience in sales working as the Director of Business Development for our company. In her free time, you can catch Morgan in the local Orlando/ College Park area trying new restaurants and enjoying time with friends and family.

Mike Williamson

Cabinet Department Manager/Chief Designer

Mike started his trade in a small family owned custom cabinet shop just outside of Charlotte, NC where he learned how to build and install cabinets. Mr. Williamson has over 27 years of experience in kitchen & bath design and is fully versed in the 20/20 3-D cabinet design software that allows the customer to see what their dream kitchen can look like before it’s installed.


Lizbeth Soto

Contents Manager

Lizbeth is originally from Puerto Rico and moved to Orlando in 2000. She worked in the field/contents department for 9 years prior to being promoted to our Contents Manager. Before joining FLA-CAT she worked 10 years as a licensed massage therapist and office administrator. One of her passions is helping others which is why she plays such a vital role helping our customers get back into their homes as quickly as possible. Seeing the before and after results of a catastrophe is something Lizbeth takes pride in. In her spare time she enjoys sports, watching movies, listening to music, enjoying nature and spending time her family.

Austin grew up in Central Florida and graduated from Lake Brantley High School before moving on to graduate from the University of South Florida. Where he competed in division 1 baseball for four years while studying environmental sciences and communications. Today, he serves as an Estimator on our team. In his spare time he enjoys biking, surfing, weightlifting, and softball.


Deanna Morales

Deanna Morales

Administrative Assistant/Claims Coordinator

Deanna was born in Manhattan, NY, lived there for 10 years before moving to Puerto Rico where she graduated high school. She has been in Central Florida for the past 12 years where she is raising her son. Prior to joining FLA-CAT she was a patient services coordinator at a physical therapy clinic for two years. Her career background ranges from spending a few years in the hospitality industry as well as a year in marketing with Anheuser-Busch. Deanna is dedicated to living a healthy lifestyle and spends her free time involved in her son’s extracurricular activities, of which includes martial arts.


Curtis Dunlap

Project Manager

Curtis relocated from the Florida panhandle to central Florida in 2012. He has an extensive background in residential and commercial construction. Curtis joined the Florida Catastrophe team in 2014 as a Project Manager. When he’s not working, he spends time with his wife and 2 children, and enjoys coaching and participating in a variety of youth sports.


Deanna Morales

Tom Meyerer

Project Manager

Tom Meyerer graduated from Florida State University in 1994 with a degree in Criminology. His career started with Target Corporation, He was a Store Manager in Columbus, Ohio and Atlanta, Ga. He continued his over 13 years of retail management experience in Charlotte, NC as a member of the Southeast expansion team for Kohl’s Corporation. From there, moving him back to Orlando, FL, he co -founded a custom remodeling/cabinetry company and for the past 12 years has produced many successful projects, both residential and commercial.
Tom spends his free time with his wife of 19 years, their twin boys Jacob and Jackson, and daughter MacKenzie. Tom brings experience of custom remodeling projects and quality customer service to Florida Catastrophe Corporation.


Leah Palmer

Marketing Manager

Leah was born and raised in the Central Florida area and attended Lyman High School for a couple of years, before leaving to Seminole Community College. Leah went on to graduate early and earned a full-ride scholarship to SCC (now Seminole State), where she later obtained her Associates Degree in Business. With about 10 years of industry experience, Leah has returned to FLA-CAT, bringing her additional restoration and adjusting knowledge to our team, as Marketing Manager. Leah is also a Licensed Adjuster and a Notary Public for the State of Florida. In her spare time, Leah enjoys spending time with her family/friends, fishing, boating, going to the beach and playing with her dog.

David Vasquez

Water Mitigation Manager

David, originally from New York, joined the FLA-CAT Team in the summer of 2002. David served as a water technician, where he mitigated and managed emergency responses in both homes and large commercial losses. David is certified in IICRC Water Damage and other related certifications.

Recently, promoted to management in the Water Mitigation department, David ensures that this department is ready and accessible for any incoming emergencies. In his spare time, David travels to other areas of the country with his family.

Project Manager

Grant grew up in Central Florida where he graduated from Lake Brantley High School. He went on to attend The University of Florida and graduated with a degree in Construction Management. Prior to joining FLA-CAT, Grant worked as an Assistant Project Manager for the Haskell Company in Frisco, Texas. He is now continuing his experience as a Project manager for our company. In his free time, he loves to hunt, fish, and enjoys spending time with friends and family.


Matt Frizzell

Mold Manager

Matt grew up in Central Florida where he graduated from Lake Brantley High School. He went on to attend Appalachian State and graduated with a degree in Graphic Design. Matt serves as our Mold Manager but is eager to jump into any job where help is needed. Matt bought his first home in Mount Dora where you can find him on a Saturday night wine walk, enjoying the lake and the downtown Mount Dora restaurants.

I was born and raised in Baltimore, MD lived there for 30 years prior to relocating to central Florida 6 years ago. I bring 15+ Years of Office Administration and Full-Charge Bookkeeping Experience ranging from Industrial Gaskets & Seals, High-end Collision Repair and Real Estate to the table. I love spending quality time with my family and close friends. Some of my favorite things to do consist of playing with my fur babies, watching my daughter play softball, fishing, going to the beach, making memories, and just living life to the fullest.

Cabinet Division

Gabi was born in Brazil and moved to America in 2008 with her family. She has worked directly with auto insurance adjusters for 3 years before entering the reconstruction industry. Prior to joining FLA-CAT, she worked in the restoration business managing claims and planning development events. Today, she is one of our members in the cabinet division helping our clients rebuild their kitchen. Gabi spends her free time doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, weightlifting, shooting and reading books.”

Project Manager

I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration in 1990.
The majority of my professional career has been in sales and management in the Wholesale Distribution of building materials.
I have been married to my beautiful wife for 25 years and have two awesome sons that are attending the University of Central Florida as well studying Mechanical Engineering and Accounting.
My family and I have been members of First Baptist Sweetwater Church since 1994.
My favorite past time and interests are spending time with my family, playing sports, old cars, listening to music, and watching movies (although I typically have a very difficult time staying awake throughout the entire movie, therefore I typically can’t recall much of the movie).
One of my personal leisure time goals is to have a vacation home in The Great Smoky Mountains!

Derek was born in Louisiana but has called Central Florida home his entire life. Derek graduated from Auburndale High School and then went on to attend Polk State College and began work as an Architectural Draftsman. He was tasked with drawing residential and commercial blueprints. While working in architecture Derek began remodeling homes as a side job and after 5 years of Architecture it was time for a change. Derek became a Firefighter/EMT for the City of Auburndale. All the while maintaining a side career in construction, remodeling and repairing homes. With a more flexible schedule Derek was able to build his remodeling business and partner up to start a granite company. After 10 years as a firefighter Derek decided to hang up the helmet and focus full time on property restoration. When not hard at work Derek can be found spinning laps on a wakeboard with his wife and 2 boys at the local cable park. Derek will be serving as a project manager for our Polk County office and will be a great addition to our team!

Lynn was raised in Longwood, Florida and graduated from Lyman High School. Lynn’s prior work experience includes retail management, purchasing and office administration. In her spare time Lynn loves spending time with her family, enjoying her children’s extracurricular activities, and any time spent near the water. Lynn will be serving as the accounting assistant in our Orlando office! You can count on Lynn to have a smile on her face everyday at FLA-CAT and we are grateful for her positive attitude and work ethic!

Estimator

Auston grew up in Central Florida and graduated from West Orange High School before moving on to graduate from the University of Mississippi. Auston played division 1 baseball for three years at Ole Miss while studying journalism and communication. After his junior year of college he was drafted in the 5th round by the San Diego Padres. He played 5 professional seasons for the Padres minor league system. Auston will be serving as an estimator on the FLA-CAT team. In his spare time he enjoys being outdoors fishing and hunting!


Lynn Burke

Tim Parker

Project Manager

Tim is a 5th generation native to the state Florida and grew up in the Tampa Bay area. He went on to attend The University of Florida and graduated with a degree in Natural Resource Conservation while also fishing for the university in the FLW and Carhartt Bassmaster College Series. Prior to joining FLA-CAT, Tim worked as an Project Manager for Rose Paving in Tampa, Florida. He is now continuing his experience as a Project manager for our company. In his free time, you can still find him on the water or in the woods enjoying nature.


Jarrod Petree

Emergency Clean Manager / Estimator

Jarrod grew up in Central Florida and graduated from Apopka High School before moving on to the University of Central Florida and then ultimately graduating from the University of West Florida. Jarrod played division 1 and 2 baseball at both schools respectively while studying criminal justice. After graduating, Jarrod moved back to Central Florida and worked at the Golf Channel for 2.5 years. Jarrod will be serving as an Emergency Cleaning Manager and as an Estimator on the FLA-CAT team. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, being out on the lake, and checking out local breweries.


Lisa Caden

Melbourne Claims Coordinator

Lisa was born and raised in Western Massachusetts and graduated from Wahconah Regional High School. Lisa moved to Boston for 8 years and worked in the retail industry and studied at Northeastern University and graduated from Fisher College. Prior to joining FLA-CAT Lisa worked in real estate, property management and owned and operated a restaurant in downtown Andrews, North Carolina. She enjoys spending time with her two sons and daughter.  Lisa likes walking on the beach, fishing, biking and checking out restaurants on the Space Coast with family and friends.


Jay Goler

Estimator

Jay is originally from South Florida and graduated from the University of Central Florida with a B.S. in Criminal Justice. Having been exposed to the industry through his mother, who was an accountant for another restoration company, Jay began to learn the fundamentals of the trade. He started out as a field technician learning the basics of water mitigation, and mold remediation.  He quickly became adept in these fields and was in no-time leading crews to complete projects. Learning to write invoices and estimates soon came after, acknowledging what it takes to complete a project from A to Z. He recently joined Florida Catastrophe as a full-time estimator. In his spare time, Jay enjoys hanging out with friends, golf, and binge-watching the latest shows on Netflix.
